What we like about this hotel:............................(Back to top)
- Since it was originally built in the 60's, the room layout design allows for more space than modern construction and all rooms have a balcony.
- The hotel is literally at the geographical center of Waikiki, that alone will place you a few minutes walk to the ocean, restaurants, shops and nightlife.
- All rooms have free internet access, refrigerator and coffee maker.
What you may not like about this hotel:............................(Back to top)
- This hotel has a mandatory extra daily "Resort fee", that is not included in your room total until you check out. These fees, also known as "resort fees" or "amenities fees", are being charged in several area hotels and range from $10 to $40 extra per day.
- The common areas are too small, especially the swimming pool that is so small that is not very used by the guests.
- The lobby area is on a higher level than the street and requires the climbing of several steps or using an escalator.
- Noise can be a problem since the building is on a major 4 lane 2 way avenue and sits on top of an intersection with traffic lights and the hotel is surrounded by open air shops, restaurants and bars.
- Based on your particular needs and the objective of your trip, this hotel may have other pros and cons that you should consider, call us at (808) 394-2112 for more information.051211
